Mediatoolkit, Croatia

Full-time father of two and a developer/manager on the side, Paško started developing Mediatoolkit as a CS student more than 10 years ago. Now, a decade later, he is proficient in building real-time data processing systems and acquainted with headaches this brings. Loves to produce clean, scalable code and motivating teams to do the same.

Designing Robust Processing System With Redis

Designing robust systems for big data processing is not always an easy task, especially when you take into consideration the small budgets that startups usually have.

At Mediatoolkit we used Redis for queueing and control messaging to build a robust and scalable system while keeping high performance and low hardware footprint.

If you want to know how we built our system with mechanisms such as queueing, scheduling, and backpressure implemented with Redis, come, listen and discuss.
