Google Cloud Platform: The “What”, “Where” and “How”

Abstract

This workshop will cover the basic concepts of Google Cloud Platform, the “What”, “Where” and “How”. The principal services will be presented and explored. The workshop will include visualizations in DataStudio, SQL querys in Big Query and Python code in A.I. Platform!

Part 1: The “What”:

• To present Google Cloud Platform at a high level
• To describe the principal services

Part 2: The “Where”:

• A guided visit to the principal services

Part 3: The “How”:

• Show how to implement code in GCP
• Show how to execute SQL querys in the GCP’s Datawarehouse solution: BigQuery
• Show how to do a visualization in Google DataStudio

Objectives

The main goal of this workshop is to introduce participants to Google Cloud Platform.

The target audience includes those interested in the cloud. Everybody who loves technology. The workshop will be introductory, so no previous knowledge of programming is required.
