Biography

Diego Hueltes is a computer engineer at Ravenpack (Marbella, Málaga, Spain). He also collaborates teaching in the Big Data Executive Program at Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI) and also as a Big Data mentor. Diego is passionate about Data Analysis and Big Data, he loves to share his passion speaking in congress like Big Data Spain 17, PyCon Spain 17, PyData Spain 17, PyCon Spain 16, the VII Statal RITSI Congress Madrid or in seminars for Granada University Masters.

Predicting the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Price using Deep Learning Approach

Jaén is a Spanish region that produces the 20% of world olive oil. The economy is very dependant on the olive oil price and for that reason, every farmer becomes a real trader.
In this talk, it will be shown how to predict the Extra Virgin Olive Oil price using several Machine Learning techniques including deep learning models trained in Tesla K80 GPU provided by Google Colab.
